The mission of the Resources Agency's Geospatial Information Office is to lead and coordinate the development, licensing and sharing of geospatial data by Resource Agency organizations and partners. The GIO will work with the California GIS Council and the broader California geospatial community to define the data architecture, systems, standards, licensing and processes that comprise a fully integrated California Spatial Data Infrastructure.
CEIC is an online directory of information resources from California cities, counties, utilities, state and federal agencies, private businesses and academic institutions.
CaSIL is a collection of geospatial framework data for California. Content are organized thematically with the most popular data included in a "Frequently Accessed Data Layers" collection.
The California Environmental Digital Atlas offers an array of environmental data to aid in regional conservation planning and analysis.
GeoFinder is a spatially enable search tool that makes it easy to find data by geographic location.
